Position Overview:
As a Landscape Account Manager, you will build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, quality inspections, and follow-up. You will oversee all aspects of your maintenance accounts—including proposals, punch lists, materials, and site irrigation—and supervise crews and irrigators to ensure top-quality work and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with clients regularly to provide updates, proposals, and reports; attend committee and board meetings as needed.
Make horticulturally sound recommendations to improve client properties.
Conduct frequent site inspections, create punch lists, and follow up with crews to ensure timely completion.
Maintain all sites to company quality standards.
Ensure proper operation, scheduling, and maintenance of irrigation systems. Direct irrigators in quarterly inspections and communicate necessary improvements to clients.
Schedule and supervise all maintenance work using company software, managing labor, material, and other costs to achieve budgeted margins.
Serve as a positive role model, enforcing company policies and safety protocols, and handling workplace incidents appropriately.

Required Knowledge & Skills:
Landscape management principles, practices, and methods
Safe work practices with equipment, chemicals, and PPE
Horticulture and common plant material
Computer and smartphone proficiency
Math skills relevant to fertilization and area calculations
Ability to build strong client relationships
Effective organization, time management, and project coordination
Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
Ability to propose and sell property enhancements
Budget management to meet job profitability goals
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, crouching on narrow/slippery surfaces
Stooping, kneeling, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs
Walking long distances on sloped or uneven terrain

QAL (or ability to obtain) required; CLIA, CLT, and other certifications beneficial
Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus
Valid California Class "C" Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
