Sales Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Analyst to support our sales team with data- driven insights, administrative coordination, and strategic account management. This role involves managing sales data, preparing reports, coordinating client activities, and assisting in the optimization of sales processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent
organizational abilities, and the flexibility to collaborate across teams to drive sales performance and business growth.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:


Sales Support & Administration:
• Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including report preparation, record maintenance, and processing customer requests for strategic accounts.
• Pull and organize data from Aspire, tagging and coding information for marketing and finance teams.
• Coordinate sales-related activities, including RFIs, compliance documentation, customer spend tracking, and rebate-related processes.
• Support National and Strategic account clients with Quarterly Business Reviews and Annual Account Reviews.
• Complete, consolidate, and organize RFP pricing and related data.
• Maintain and update customer databases, sales records, and documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Prepare and distribute sales materials, proposals, and presentations.
• Organize and facilitate sales meetings, training sessions, and promotional events.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures.


Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Track and monitor sales performance metrics, generating detailed reports for management review.
• Conduct market research to assess industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning.
• Assist in forecasting sales performance and setting targets based on historical data and market insights.
• Develop dashboards and visual reports to present key findings to stakeholders.
• Support pricing strategies by analyzing market data, historical wins and losses, and insights from Aspire.

 

Process Optimization & Campaign Management:
• Maintain and update CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Aspire) and reporting tools.
• Assist in identifying inefficiencies in sales processes and suggest improvements for better performance.
• Organize and vet market lists for email marketing campaigns, supporting campaign development and execution.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure campaign data is accurately tracked and analyzed for future optimization.


Qualifications & Skills:
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Canva.
• Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Aspire (a plus).
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage large datasets and complex information.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities
