Job Summary
This is a non-exempt position is responsible for performing a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled landscape tasks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

As a Small Engine Mechanic will be expected to possess basic knowledge of:
- 2 and 4 cycle hand held equipment
- Exmark, Laser, and Navigator riding mowers
- 21” Walk behind mowers
- John Deer Gators, small tractors, golf carts, and other small engine equipment
Responsibilities:
- Safely and effectively using tools to repair equipment
- Performing diagnostics and repair of small engine equipment
- Selecting appropriate course of action for repairs
- Testing equipment once repairs are completed and verifying that all issues have been resolved
- Document all repairs
- Ensuring all work orders are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Performing road calls and emergency services as needed
REQIEMENTS
- High School Diploma
- 3+ years working on small engine equipment
- Valid driver license, and clean motor vehicle record

SPECIAL NOTES:
- Working Conditions: Work is predominately outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels.
- Frequently stand, walk, or crouch on narrow and/or slippery surfaces; stoop, kneel, bend to pick up or move objects; walk for long distances and on sloped ground and uneven surfaces; move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; normal manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination; corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
