French Country in Hobart

Our client is a retired couple who wanted to build the house of their dreams. They wanted to maximize privacy, requested a pond with the look of natural stone, and have a pool for entertaining their grandchildren.
The pond was going to be the focal point from their leisure room in the French Country home with the pool being built out of view. Fencing and plantings for deer control and privacy were used around the property.
A large pergola with vines running up it was recommended to shade over the natural stone patio next to the pool.
The same natural stone used for the home was used throughout the French Country estate, which featured a more formal front entrance that blended into a less formal backyard and park-like lot with pockets of native plantings next to the home.
The client enjoys gardening and adding seasonal color while Landscape Associates’, a Sperber Company, fine gardening crew visits the estate regularly so the landscaping continues to impress.
